Donations & Tax Deductibility Disclaimer

The United Caribbean Association of Philadelphia (UCAP) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made directly to UCAP support our mission to inspire, motivate, and develop a stronger community through unified cultural festivities.

Certain UCAP programs and initiatives may operate under fiscal sponsorship. In those cases, donations may be received and administered by UCAP’s fiscal sponsor in accordance with applicable nonprofit and IRS regulations. Donors will be notified when a contribution is being made to a fiscally sponsored program, and tax acknowledgments will be issued by the appropriate 501(c)(3) entity.

All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. UCAP does not provide legal or tax advice; donors are encouraged to consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of their contribution.

Donations are used to support cultural programming, artist compensation, community events, and organizational operations unless otherwise specified. While we make every effort to honor donor intent, UCAP reserves the right to allocate funds in a manner consistent with our charitable mission and legal obligations.

UCAP is committed to transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of all donated funds.
